How We Can Help You Or Someone You Care About

Our mission is to meet the challenge of youth suicide in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico through lasting solutions that encourage resiliency, courage, connection and hope.

The Sky Center’s core values are hope and love. Love, through inclusivity, cultural sensitivity, listening, paying attention, setting clear boundaries, living with integrity, and offering kindness. In our program practices, we find equitable solutions for our young people and their families through listening to their stories of strength, wisdom, courage, and recovery.

We have been following recent executive actions and are very concerned about the potential implications for our community.  We see the current climate of fear and uncertainty that many are experiencing. We stand firmly against policies that marginalize, exclude, or endanger the families we serve.

As an organization committed to equity and justice, we remain steadfast in creating a safe, welcoming space where every young person and family is seen, heard, and supported. Reducing barriers to access help and making resources for resiliency available widely, especially in the current climate, is what we are here for: now and always in our community.

Counseling made me understand the value of life and how lucky I am to have what I have.

YOUTH

The best thing I learned from counseling was the peace I feel from myself in an otherwise hostile environment.

PARENT

This was one of the best and most useful presentations we have had as professional development. It is good to learn about resiliency and how to implement it in our lives and professionally. Thank you!
